Sunday Church

We went to church with my friend Masha and her family today. Her husband and brother picked us up this morning to drive us to the church. It was wonderful to be in the house of the Lord today. Ricky and I recognized 3 of the songs. There was and American, Jeff there, he translated for us. He preached some and Masha translated.

They had a members meeting, after church, and we went to sit and wait. Most of us fell asleep waiting. We are not quite over the jet lag. (I was a little embarrased that I fell asleep.)

Masha's mother and family prepared lunch for us. A wonderful Ukrainian meal, including Borsh. There was great fellowship with her family and her husband's family. We talked all afternoon, had tea and fruit and returned back to the apartment around 9:00.

It was a great day. It was good for my children to be with Christian families in Ukraine.

We did have snow this morning. It all melted. About 2 in the afternoon it began snowing again. The children enjoyed going and making a snowman and having snowball fights.

We will go to our appointment in the morning. Ok, that is 2:30a.m. for U.S. We are 8 hours ahead.
