We had a great night last night. We ate sandwiches in the room with ham potato chips. We rested from the cold, wet, rainey, snowy day. We had walked for hours again in Kiev. We went to see St Michaels. Yes, we ventured out without and interpreter. We were fine. We ate at the Fat House again. It is cafeteria style. So we just point. This way the children get to try several foods and decide what they like. We went to a grocery store to pick up a few items. Meat and cheese is deli style. When they asked how much I put my fingers at the appropriate distance to show and inch. She laughed and cut our meat and cheese.
We walked quickly on the way back to the room. The snow/ rain was coming down pretty hard. We all drank something hot when we made it back to the apt.
Masha and Vitalik came over to visit us in the evening. They brought gifts to all of us. They did too much. Masha brought me a scarf from Jeresulem. We are very honored to have such good, kind and loving friends here. We showed each other pictures and talked until bedtime.
Today we will sight see again. Masha and Vitalik will come by to take us to a muesum and the incline (Finnicular). We will go pick up our referral later.
